PeePal Refuge1.0 - App Store

When you gotta go, you gotta go, and we can get you there.

Whether you’re traveling, out with family, or navigating a new neighborhood, PeePal makes finding the right restroom simple, fast, and reliable. Crowdsourced data from the Refuge Restrooms API gives you the deets you need relieve yourself like a local, with thousands of spaces documented and reviewed around the world.

Find what you need, fast.
Tap a pin on the map to get details like the address, community rating, unisex availability, and ADA accessibility. Plus, see specific notes so you're not lost when you get there. When you're ready to go, get directions at a tap using your preferred navigation app.

Your filters, your comfort.
Not every restroom is the right restroom. Filter the map by what matters most to you: unisex facilities, accessibility, or changing tables. That way, the options you see are actually options you'd use.

Search anywhere.
Looking for a restroom near a specific spot? Search by location and PeePal will scour both the map and the Refuge Restrooms database to find the best matches.

Whether you're a parent on the go, navigating accessibility needs, or just someone who plans ahead, PeePal has your back. (And your bladder.)

PeePal is proudly powered by Refuge Restrooms, a free, open-source project dedicated to providing safe restroom access for transgender, intersex, and gender-nonconforming individuals. Their community-driven database is built on the belief that everyone deserves to feel safe while attending to their most basic human needs. We're grateful for their work and encourage you to visit refugerestrooms.org to learn more or contribute.

And for those that know and care, this app was not "vibe-coded." The vast majority of its code was written line-by-line by one developer.

So what are you waiting for? Flush away your cares and hit that download button.

Version History At long last, v1.0!

When I wrote this app as a bright-eyed college student, I never expected it to have hundreds of downloads years later. In honor of all the users that stuck with it, PeePal is now what it was always intended to be.

New in this version:
- A fresh new look! Everything is now smoother, more polished, and more stable
- Restrooms now stick around and even cluster when they're close together
- Restrooms you've seen before are saved, so the app works even with slow internet
- No more limits on the map! You can now rotate and even go 3D
- A new filter for changing tables
- New settings to control dark mode, satellite imagery, traffic, and Liquid Glass

Please note that this update does raise the minimum supported iOS version to 17.4. 1.0 Jun 3 0.11.2 08/27/2021
